Transitioning from my foundational role at J. by Junaid Jamshed to Orient Textiles marked the next chapter in my evolving career as a Textile and Pret Designer. At Orient Textiles, I was presented with the opportunity to further expand my creative and technical skills, working on a wide array of textile designs and playing a key role in styling for photoshoots.
**Creative Contributions and Technical Proficiency:**
-Extensive Portfolio Development: In just about 15 months, I successfully designed and executed over 100 prints, showcasing my ability to work efficiently and creatively under pressure. This extensive portfolio included a diverse range of designs, such as Rotary Prints, Flat Bed Prints, and Shirt Pieces, with select designs featuring intricate embroideries, managing designs across various textile types demonstrating my versatility and commitment to addressing the brand’s wide-ranging needs.
-Software and Manual Design Skills: Utilized Adobe Photoshop for digital designs while continuing to embrace manual drawing techniques, allowing for a unique blend of precision and artistic flair in each piece.
-Styling for Photoshoots: Beyond designing, I willingly took on an extra responsibility of styling most of these textiles for photoshoots, ensuring that each piece was presented in the best possible light and aligned with the brand's aesthetic values.
